In 1950, this brocade was used to make a dress for Queen Louise of Sweden. Curiously, the historical name of the brocade, which also appears in correspondence, refers to another queen, “Queen Margaret”. In the historical correspondence of the weaving mill, there is a letter sent by the Art Gallery – Palazzo Strozzi in 1927 in which the brocade is ordered in a white version [Source: Historical archive section 1905-1945, correspondence, letter 970].
