The archive contains a letter sent on 2 December 1935 by the American Consulate General in Naples, in which it is asked whether the Tessitura can produce a fabric with design 3378 (of which a green sample is enclosed) that is not in pure silk, a material considered by the client to be too expensive and not very resistant. Also for the American market, the archive contains a letter from 1938 from the Hayden Company of New York, requesting 12 metres. Finally, the presence of 3378 velvet on the American market is attested by a 1959 order from Scalamandr\u00e9, who wanted 100 meters.
